Hey! so I went back to the Driscolls to learn now how to stain & preserve the wood – Ralph showed me how to apply Mohawk Finishers Glaze – Burnt Sienna (gorgeous color) & then told me to let that sit overnight, then apply a coat to the second side, let that sit overnight again & then add shellac that he has created. Here is what it looks like with just the first coat of glaze on it (GORGEOUS!!):

You’ll notice how there’s no glass yet – will finish glazing / staining & then add glass!
This has been a slow process – I haven’t been able to give it full attention, unfortunetly! And that kind of freaks me out, but slow & steady!! ooohhhmmm!!! ooohhhmmm!!!
