So after I learned about the 400 wet dry grit / linseed
oil/turpentine procedure I was on the lookout for a bottle & of course I wanted something special / unique … so I had my eye out & come to find out an ear too!!

One afternoon my honey & I were checking out the Mississippi
River – this was the time when it was flooding it’s banks in so many locations all over America – spring of 2011 – we were on the banks of the levee & MAN it was so high !!!  The corps had already opened up the Atchafalaya  Spillway & were about ready to open the Morganza Spillway which hadn’t been opened  since 1973. While we were watching this HUGE body of water
careening down towards the Gulf I kept hearing something .. like a clanking … not a continuous sound .. just here & there & I finally tuned into it cuz I knew it was something I wanted to be hearing (for some reason!!) as I tuned it to it – it sounded like glass clinking against something. . .  so I followed the sound – & sure enough – along the very edge of the river  a dirty & empty crowne royale bottle was gently bouncing up against the levee – it had its top on it too!!! EXACTLY what I needed!! Cleaned that sucker up & VOILA my GORGEOUS  bottle for linseed oil / turpentine mixture!!! I love it!!
