So I got a vibrating tumbler to create tumbled glass from my honey – & I figured I am trying to create a sea glass effect – so I could use sand & salt – so picked up some sand & pool salt & tried a couple of batches that way – I forgot however – how corrosive salt can be & my 2 wing nuts are rusted – so I should replace them – der!

I decided to try the grit pack that they suggest for the vibrating tumbler (they being The Rock Shed) so here it is – 120-220 grit, 500 grit & a polishing grit…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I smash-up different colored glass & fill up the tumbler 3/4 full ….

 

 

 

 

 

 

then add the 120-220 grit – man, that is really fine!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pour it in….

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

turn on the tumbler add a little water

 

 

 

 

 

 

so we’ll see how this goes!! stay tuned!!
